The cost of living at Lifestyle Estates
Redbank Plains as at 27th October 2008 is $588.00 per
fortnight. There is no means or asset testing. All residents
pay the same amount of rent. This amount includes rental
of your fully furnished unit, provision of three home
style meals per
day, maintenance of grounds and communal areas, on-site
management, use of the Community Centre, entertainment
area and pool.
There will be a cleaning fee of $150 payable on entry.
Rental payments are to be made by direct debit from your
account into our Trust Account. This can either be done through
your bank or through the Centrepay System, which can be
arranged through Centrelink by those for whom the Age Pension
is their main source of income. This decision is made for safety
reasons (no cash on premises) and also for convenience to you. |

The rent is reviewed in line with the review of the Aged Pension, usually every six months (March and Sept).
Being calculated on a percentage of the Aged Pension
and Rental Assistance, any increase will reflect the
movement in the Aged Pension. |

Lifestyle Estates uses a formula to calculate the cost of living,
which is based on a percentage of the Aged Pension and the full
rate Rental Assistance. If you are a self-funded retiree, you pay
the same amount as those on a pension. |

Small pets are welcome. |

Smoking is not permitted inside the units or in the Community Centre and dining areas. |

Yes and for a small cost, they can also enjoy a meal with you if prior notice is given to the Manager. Guests are welcome
to stay overnight if prior arrangements are made with
management. The privacy of other residents is to be respected
at all times. |

| There will be no rental bond or entry fee payable, however
there will be an upfront, once only cleaning fee. |

| Yes. All units will be fully air-conditioned. |

Yes. You can install your own telephone and the account will be
forwarded direct to you for payment of rental fees and your
telephone calls. |

Yes. Separate electricity meters for each villa will be read and an account forwarded direct to your unit. |

| Our units are fully furnished. However, you are welcome to furnish your unit entirely with your own furniture or
alternatively you can bring small items to add your own
decorative touch to your new home. |

There will be car parking available for you and your visitors. |

The meals at Lifestyle Estates are freshly cooked and follow
nutritionally balanced menus approved by a dietician. If you
have food allergies or are diabetic, please advise your Manager
who will endeavor to organise something that’s more suitable
for you to eat. |

You are welcome to take your meal back to your room. |
| |
Our communities are designed for independent living. So when
the time comes for additional care, arrangements will need to
be made by the resident or their nominated representative to
secure a place in a facility which can provide the required care. |

| Activities will be organised in consultation with the residents. Residents are welcome to participate and enjoy the company
of others if they wish. |

Unit cleaning will be your own responsibility. Management will
undertake any repairs, and the maintenance of the surrounding
grounds. |

Yes. No bed linen or towels will be provided. Each unit will have
it’s own laundry complete with washing machine and dryer.
There will also be a clothes line attached to the wall in your
private courtyard. |
